Over the past month, BUK has been quiet in terms of foreign relations. The last time Buckingham Palace had seen a foreign official, was on the 7th of May when President Trump met with the Prime Minister. Thats why we decided to take a look into the foreign relations of BUK, by interviewing Foreign Secretary Andrew LaNier.

INTERVIEW

Want a smaller summery? Scroll down to the conclusion!

It has been more than a month since the last state visit where leaders from BUK and BUSA met. What is the current status on BUK/BUSA relations and what is the future for the relations between BUK and BUSA?

Currently, BUSA relations are still stable, but in need of development. With all the changes in leadership we are going to still try and make consistent contact.

Does BUK plan to meet with foreign officials in countries like BRP, BRFA, etc?

BUK plans on meeting with other countries and officially releasing the Convention of Countries with official regulations for the recognition of Counties by BUK.

Does BUK plan to improve relations with its crown dependencies?

We plan on making individual visits to our Crown Dependencies in the coming days to promote our Agenda.

What has been the reason behind the lack of state visits recently?

The Lack simply results in Constant Government changes and issues with Government-To-Government Contact. We are hoping to reach out to Newer & Well-Developed Nations.

CONCLUSION

Starting off, we learned that the reason behind the lack of state visits has been due to constant government changes, and communication issues. The last state visit was between BUSA and BUK, and the relations have been stable since, but in need of development. It has been hard for them to make consistent contact due to the changes of leadership. BUK also plans on meeting with other countries, and officially releasing the convention of countries with regulations for the recognition of countries. However, BUK also plans to improve relations with its crown dependencies in the upcoming days.

Overall, we’ve learned a lot from this interview. It looks like BUK has many plans in terms of relations, and even plans to improve relations with its own crown dependencies in just the upcoming days.
